This is the most economical way to purchase our 100% grass fed and finished, ethically and sustainably raised, certified organic beef from our farm in South Gippsland. Our quarter cow will last most families between 3 and 6 months
Purchasing a quarter of a cow embraces the 'nose-to-tail' approach to eating meat which is more sustainable than only buying preferred cuts.
Information about our Beef
Your beef will be portioned by our butcher the day before delivery to you
Your beef will be packaged in serving sizes for two people
Each cut will be labelled & vacuum sealed
Our beef has been aged on the bone for a minimum of 7 days to further improve tenderness and flavour.
Storage
Beef can be frozen for up to 6 months
Storage requirements are similar to 16 loaves of bread (you will need a chest freezer to store the beef)
Pricing
You will receive approximately 34kgs of beef. This works out to be $41.86 per kg, which is the most cost effective way to purchase our beef.
If you don't have a chest freezer we suggest sharing with a neighbour, friend or family member. We have designed the portion sizes so it's easy to split the beef between two people.
